Founded in 1935, the Community at Rockhill (www.communityatrockhill.org) is a residential community for adults 65 and older located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As a Life Plan Community, Rockhill offers a continuum of care that includes Residential Living, Personal Care for adults who need assistance with daily activities, and Health Care for individuals in need of 24-hour support. Rockhill. Rockhill supportive family empowers residents to live spirited, fulfilling lives exactly as they choose; from active and engaged to peaceful and private. Rockhill consists of 206 independent living units, 53 personal care units, and 90 skilled nursing beds.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Plan and implement activities in accordance with a comprehensive assessment to meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial well being, as well as individualized needs and interests of residents/clients.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to interact in collaboration with the Director to plan and schedule a program of individual and group activities based on residents needs and interests.
- Ability to independently implement the program of individual and group activities.
- Ability to plan and implement reality Orientation on a one to one basis.
- Ability to plan, schedule and implement room visits and in-room activities for residents who are unable to leave their rooms.
- Ability to maintain an activity attendance record for each resident.
- Ability to work with Coordinator in implementing group outings and trips.
- Ability to assist Coordinator in planning and implementing large group programs.
- Ability to take part in in-service education, conferences and seminars.
- Ability to assist Coordinator in maintaining an adequate supply of materials to implement individual and group programs.
- Ability to observe infection control procedures related to individual and group programs.
- Ability to be responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision.
- Ability to follow Residents Rights policies at all times.
- Ability to assume accountability for data contained in the employees handbook.
- Ability to be responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision.
- Ability to meet at regular intervals with his/her supervisor for the purpose of planning and evaluating program and work performance.
- Ability to carry out specific assignments, requests or projects as proposed by his/her Supervisor and Department Head.
