Utility Aide

Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is currently seeking a Full-Time Utility Aide to help maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, utensils, and pots, and operate dishwashing equipment.
• Empty trash containers and sweep/mop kitchen and staff areas.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, production equipment, and pot sinks.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work station and adhere to safety regulations.
• Participate in in-service training and education as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Prior kitchen sanitation experience is helpful.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Flexibility, patience, and teamwork mindset.
• Ability to understand and follow cleaning product instructions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to maintain a clean uniform.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
• Must be able to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals with proper precautions.
• Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment and cleaning tools.
