Unit Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Unit Manager. The Unit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their assigned unit, including managing staff, ensuring quality care for residents, and maintaining compliance with all regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support unit staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement care plans for residents
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Monitor and maintain unit budget
• Coordinate with other departments to provide comprehensive care for residents
• Handle any resident or staff issues that may arise

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• RN license preferred
