  • Employees, and their families if elected, can participate in medical and vision insurance (full time and ACA eligible), dental (full time) and group life (employee only for full time, excludes part-time and on-call staff).
  • We offer a combined paid time off (PTO) policy which incorporates state paid sick leave with company paid time off at an accrual rate of 0.0607 per hour worked, equivalent to 120 hours of PTO at 2,080 hours worked in a year. We also offer 6 Paid Holidays (8 hours for full time and 6 hours for part time per event, excludes on-call staff) and 1 Personal Holiday of Choice per year (excludes on-call staff).
  • Retirement planning is encouraged through our 403(b) plan that includes a generous 100% company match on the first 4% of earnings an employee contributes. There is a 5-year vesting schedule on the company match, and minors are ineligible for the company match.
  • A food and beverage discount of 50% is available to all employees at any Wesley bistro. Employees are also eligible for On-Demand Pay with Dayforce Wallet. Minors need parental consent to access this benefit.

Enrich the lives of older adults through community, choice, and continuing care in the Sr. Director of Health & Home Care role. The Sr. Director, Health & Home Care is responsible for management of the daily business operations of the Health & Home Care division with a primary focus on revenue cycle management for Medicare, Medicaid, hospice, and private pay care services. This position supervises other business office functions such as intake, medical records, receptionist and administrative assistants, office and medical supplies, equipment management, and staff scheduling. The Sr. Director, Health A& Home Care collaborates with the Executive Director and Program-level Directors (clinical/service) to maintain regulatory compliance, meet financial targets, maintain budgeted census, and support an engaged, qualified workforce.  You will provide continuing care through these responsibilities

Essential functions of this position include the following.

  • Management of revenue cycle for accurate billing of various payment models, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance home health; Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance hospice and palliative care; and private pay home care.
  • Implement, and maintain standard systems to achieve census growth, positive financial performance, compliance with federal Conditions of Participation, WA state rules, HIPAA, organizational policies, and other regulations.
  • Implement business systems, policies, and procedures to drive positive patient/client and employee satisfaction outcomes.
  • Direct supervision of non-clinical, non-caregiver staff who complete all intake, scheduling, supplies and equipment ordering, receptionist and administrative tasks, order processing, business development, and record management.
  • Maintain an engaged, qualified workforce through effective evaluation, hiring, engagement, development, and overall performance management of the team.
  • Adopt and support a culture of continuous improvement and standard work; champion Lean methodology.
  • Work directly in the agency EMR to produce correct claims, completes pre-and post-billing audits, and work closely with the agency billing company. Generate required reports and accesses external sites, such as CMS, as required.
  • Collaborate with the program Directors to respond effectively to short- and long-term challenges, including pandemic impacts, staffing, market changes, and regulatory shifts.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department in meeting timeframes, standardized systems, and producing reports and documents as required.

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Our requirements and qualifications for success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in healthcare, home care, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance within healthcare services.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance improvements, and implement successful operational strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with healthcare technology, EMR systems, and data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Washington State healthcare policies and industry trends is highly desirable.

Salary Range: $86112.00 to $124,092.80 per year
