Shift: 3rd - 10:00 pm to 6:30 am; Shift Differential Available
Location: Wesley Willows Campus - Rockford, IL

Summary:
Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all residents by performing routine security checks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform security checks on all exterior doors (Willows Arbor, Health Center, Personal Care, Town Center, Willows Suites) as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform temperature checks in boiler rooms and kitchens.
- Remove all resident trash located in the hallways.
- Remove trash from Willow Suites trash chute.
- Remove cardboard from hallways and resident storage areas in Willow Suites.
- Perform security rounds of all buildings and campus.
- Note any garage doors that are left open, post lights that are not lit, and any suspicious activity involving unidentified people and vehicles.
- Take immediate action when suspicious activity is observed by questioning individuals or calling the police as needed.
- Empty soiled linen bins and trash bins in the Health Center.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Assist with resident relations program; handle all resident concerns promptly.
- Keep the Maintenance Supervisor informed of all resident issues.
- Assist with company event setups and take-downs.
- Complete all special projects/assignments as required by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Minimum Education/Skills/Experience/Credentials:
- High school graduate or equivalent;
- A minimum of one (1) year of general building maintenance, with basic knowledge of heating and cooling systems, is required. Two (2) years preferred.
- Must have a valid driverοΏ½s license and a clear driving record.
- Must be able to handle emergency situations in a calm manner.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sustain a workload consistently of exerting 10 to 25 pounds
- Frequently (occurring 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to move soiled linen and trash bins.
- Good mobility is necessary to perform security checks on all buildings and grounds.
Other regulated requirements:
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check, including (MVR) moving vehicle records.
- Must have or be willing to receive the Flu-Shot Vaccine and TB testing.
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis.
- Must be willing to undergo biometric screening.
