SUMMARY 

The Regional Maintenance Specialist (RMS) participates in community upgrades and specialized projects throughout the Capri portfolio.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Works with the Regional Director of Operations to perform apartment complex renovation projects including but not limited to:
    • Assist with demolition of apartment, including trash and appliance removal
    • Execute carpentry work, including cabinet, and trim installation.
    • Replace existing flooring with upgraded material.
    • Conduct light electrical work including upgrading light fixtures.
    • Execute plumbing upgrades including tub-to-shower conversions
    • Conduct exterior building upgrades
    • Work with Regional Director of Operations on budgeting of materials needed to complete projects and if any quotes from external sources are needed.
  • May assist in communities to help cover PTO or position vacancies as needed.
  • Follows company policies regarding safety and building regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Valid Driver’s License required for frequent vehicle travel.
