Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center, a 117 bed skilled nursing facility located in Natick, MA, is looking for a Nurse Manager  Skilled Rehab Unit (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team. This facility is situated in a beautiful setting with modern updates to the property and state of the art short term rehab unit and therapy gym.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of the Nurse Manager position is to manage and supervise the day to day nursing activities and care of the residents on the Skilled Rehab Unit. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as directed by the Director of Nursing, to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, either Associates or Bachelors.
  • Must possess unencumbered Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and use critical thinking.
  • Must be able to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, government agencies and the general public.
  • Be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to the long term care facility and the Unit.
  • Possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with all levels of staff.
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult resident, family and staff issues.
