Your Role and Responsibilities

As our Memory Care Life Enrichment Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging activities and meaningful interactions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Activity Planning and Execution: Plan and coordinate a variety of activities and programs tailored to the unique needs and interests of residents living with memory impairment.
  • Creative Expression: Encourage residents to express themselves creatively through art, music, storytelling, and other therapeutic modalities.
  • Physical and Social Engagement: Organize activities that promote physical exercise, social interaction, and sensory stimulation to support residents' overall well-being.
  • Individualized Support: Collaborate with our care team to develop individualized activity plans that address residents' cognitive and emotional needs.
  • Family Engagement: Foster meaningful connections between residents and their families through family events, support groups, and communication initiatives.
  • Community Outreach: Develop partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community groups to enhance the variety and accessibility of activities and resources for our residents.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with seniors, particularly those living with memory impairment (preferred).
  • Creativity, empathy, and enthusiasm for engaging with seniors and creating meaningful experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our residents and community.
