MDS Nurse / Unit Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MDS Nurse / Unit Manager to join our team at Greenfield. The MDS Nurse / Unit Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments for all residents in the facility. Additionally, the MDS Nurse / Unit Manager will serve as the unit manager, overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring high-quality care for all residents.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and complete MDS assessments for all residents
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of MDS assessments
• Develop and implement care plans based on MDS assessments
• Oversee nursing staff and ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for residents
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Michigan
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MDS coordination
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role preferred
• Strong knowledge of MDS assessment process and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
