Job Summary:
Builds, installs, repairs, and/or maintains machinery, equipment, physical structures, building systems, and outside environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive resident work orders, evaluate work needed, and complete assigned work orders within the required time frame indicating work complete, parts ordered, further work needed, outside contractors needed, etc. utilizing the PMWORX program.
  • Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine the necessity of repairs or maintenance.
  • Assist supervisor with scheduling and conducting unit inspections as required by HUD/MSHDA/PVM policy.
  • Provide groundskeeping services, such as landscaping and snow removal.
  • Ensure Housing Quality Standards are followed in units and entire property (parking lots, community building, etc.).

Education, Education, and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • One to two years of related experience in maintenance required.
  • Ability to operate a computer and operate maintenance software.
  • A valid Driver's License is required for this position.
  • Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC preferred.

Other Requirements: Required to be on call and respond to maintenance emergencies, as needed.
