As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll ensure our senior living community operates smoothly by performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. We’re looking for a skilled and dependable professional with experience in maintenance or facilities management and qualifications such as knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school graduate
• Advanced vocational training 
• Current MN Special Class Boiler license or ability to obtain written 4 months of hire
• Current MN driver's license and good driving record
• 3+ years of prior experience in physical plant maintenance or related field
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to accomplish tasks completely and on time
• Ability to perform maintenance and janitorial tasks
• Ability to work independently, organized, and attend to detail in a timely manner
• Interest in regularly working near older adults
• Ability to live Walker Methodist's customer service principles
