Maintenance Technician 2

The Maintenance Tech II performs work in connection with the operation, maintenance, and security of building, grounds, and facilities in order to ensure efficient plant operation.

Pay range $22.00-$27.00 per hour depending on experience. This position will require janitorial and maintenance specific duties. 

Full time 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

A day in the life might include:

• Under limited supervision, the Maintenance II performs semi-skilled work in connection with the operation, maintenance, and security of building, grounds, and facilities in order to ensure efficient plant operation. Plans, schedules, and participates in, and inspects the work of outside contractors engaged in the operation, maintenance, repair, and safeguarding of buildings and Community as well as light cleaning. Team member may be on call in case of an emergency.  As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• 4+ years of previous experience in building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience
• Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades or building utilities program preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current & valid Drivers’ License and driving record free of major infractions
• Availability that includes evenings and some weekends
