Schedule: Full Time | 40 hours a week |Monday-Friday
Timber Pines is looking for an experience Life Enrichment Director to plan and implement creative individualized and group activity programs to meet the resident's social, physical, intellectual, emotional, and sensory needs. Responsibilities include:
- Planning, promoting, budgeting and facilitating events with the cooperation and assistance of Life Enrichment Assistants, volunteers and employees
- Supervising Life Enrichment Assistants
- Managing volunteer program and supervising volunteers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain
- One year activities experience, specifically memory care activity planning or long-term care setting
- Sensitivity to resident needs and enjoy regularly working with older adults
- One year supervisory experience, providing work direction and performance evaluation of employees
- Knowledge of or ability to learn electronic health record systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- CTRS certification and musical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
