Life Enrichment Assistant, Part Time

Park Place of St. John, an Assisted Living Community, located in St. John, IN is seeking Life Enrichment Assistant, Part Time. The position will work every Tuesday and Thursday, and every other weekend. Summary of essential job functions:

• Assist in planning and running activity programs.
• Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activity programs.
• Create a positive atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and fun.
• Befriend residents to encourage resident self-esteem.
• Promote an environment of safety.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, and the ability to incorporate these every day into all you do with the residents.

• Previous work as an Activity Aide or Life Enrichment Assistant experience in senior living care is a plus.
• Experience in Memory Care is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Comfortable utilizing Social Media.
• Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete a reference check.
