Environment Services Technicians will report to the assigned leader of the Environmental Services Department at assigned facility and has no direct reports.
POSITION SUMMARY
Environmental Services Technicians will provide cleaning and disinfecting services to maintain an environment that is safe for patient care. Duties will include, but not limited to, cleaning and disinfecting all interior spaces within the hospital including patient rooms, procedure rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, nurse stations, clinical and non-clinical work spaces, waiting rooms, lobbies, vestibules, elevators, stairwells, break rooms, utility rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas of the facility. Additional duties may include, but not limited to lifting, moving, relocating waste, linen, furnishings, equipment, etc.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

Skills: Ability to read and write, ability to communicate clearly, interpersonal skills, ability to follow instructions, ability to use computers and mobile devices independently and deal effectively with a changing environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED
Skills: Attention to detail, organization, time management, critical thinking, leadership
Years of Experience: 1 or more years of experience with environmental services or housekeeping in a hospital environment
Certification: CHEST or CSCT
