The Director of Providence Hospice is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, growth, and culture of our hospice agency, guided by our core values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship.  This role includes overseeing the employment and development of qualified hospice personnel and ensuring the compassionate delivery of hospice services.  The Director will coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the performance of the hospice team.  They will establish and maintain high standards of care in full compliance with federal and state regulations.  The Director is also responsible for setting, implementing, and evaluating goals and objectives that promote quality, align with our mission, and support the well-being of both patients and families, while maintaining both clinical excellence and financial stewardship.

Education, Experience, Licenses & Certifications:
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or hold an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field or business administration.
  • At least one (1) year of proven management and leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Recent, relevant experience in a Medicare-certified hospice agency is preferred.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Valid driver’s license and current car insurance.
