The Lutheran Home is looking for a dependable Part-time Dishwasher to join our Dining Services team! This role is perfect for someone seeking a meaningful way to stay busy while contributing to the well-being of our residents. You’ll play a key part in keeping the kitchen clean and organized, washing and sanitizing dishes and equipment. With typical shifts from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, 11:00 am – 7:30 pm, or 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm, this is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team and help provide essential services to our healthcare community. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Washing dishes, flatware, pots/pans by hand or dishwasher.
- Storing away cooking equipment, utensils, and dishes in the designated storage areas.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the tables and work surfaces.
- Sorting and removing trash, placing it in the designated pickup area.
- Helping to keep the kitchen area clean and in safe working condition.
- Sweeping or mopping floors.
- Performing necessary tasks to help us meet the needs of our residents specifically their diet and food preferences.
