The Avaline at River Oaks, a new assisted living and memory care community in East Memphis is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our healthcare team on a part time, hourly basis. As aΒ CNA, you will provide direct care and support to our senior residents, assisting them with daily living activities and maintaining their overall physical and emotional well-being. This is a role working closely with our nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents. We are filling all shifts 7:00a - 3:00p, 3:00p to 11:00p, 11:00p to 7:00a. Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitoring and recording resident vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Administering medications as directed by the nursing staff
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assisting with simple medical procedures, such as wound care and catheterization
- Communicating effectively with residents, family members, and other healthcare team members
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificationΒ 
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred0
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work everyday
- Must have a compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively with others
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and assist residents with mobility
