Claiborne Senior Livinghas an immediate opening for a Certified Medication Aide and is offering competitive pay with a $2.00 per hour increase opportunity over the first year of employment.  Claiborne Senior Living double time on holidays, advancement opportunities and employee rewards and referral programs where you can earn up to $1,000 per employee referral and $2,000 per resident referral.

Certified Medication Aide Duties:

  • Assists residents with daily medications, treatments and care as assigned and within the scope of practice, policy and procedures and state regulations. 
  • Coordinates medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
  • Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting residents; answering resident’s all lights and requests; reporting observations of the resident to supervisor.
  • Assists Life Enrichment staff in carrying out planned activities.
  • Performs other duties consistent with position as assigned

Certified Medication Aide Qualifications:

  • CPR/First Aid certified, preferred
  • Complete an accredited Certified Medication Aide course
  • Valid State Specific CMA/CMT license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year prior experience
