Glen Park Senior Living is looking for a Caregiver to join our team. Glen Park’s mission is to provide quality, dignified care and create a supportive, healthy social environment for our residents to thrive in.

About the Role:

• Position: Caregiver
• Location: Glen Park at Long Beach
• Type: Full-time
• Shift: PM Shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM)
•         NOC Shift (11PM to 7:30 AM)
•         AM Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
• Compensation: Starts at $18/hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, etc.
• Assist in serving meals and snacks at designated times.
• Participate in and support the Activities Program.
• Attend monthly and quarterly in-services offered by the facility, totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year (eight hours per quarter).
• Keep CPR and First Aid training current.
• For residents with developmental disabilities:
  • Align performance with the Program Design.
  • Undergo specialized training for working with these residents.
  • Achieve the objectives outlined in each resident’s Individual Program Plan (IPP).
  • Maintain detailed progress notes towards accomplishing the IPP objectives.

Requirements:

• Mandatory Live-Scan Clearance and TB test
• CPR/First Aid certification required upon job offer
