Kingsway Arms Nursing Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Dining Services to join our team. This leadership position requires a motivated individual with a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to providing high-quality dining experiences for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional culinary skills, and a hands-on approach to both supervision and food preparation. Creativity is key to our success—this position offers the freedom to be as innovative as possible to enhance the dining experience for our residents and guests at Kingsway Community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in a dining or culinary environment, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality setting.
• At least 5-10 years of hands-on culinary experience, with demonstrated expertise in food preparation and menu development.
• Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team.
• Knowledge of dietary guidelines, food safety standards, and sanitation regulations.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management, scheduling software, and basic computer applications.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a nursing center, long-term care, or senior living environment.
• Experience in outside dining environments is a plus.
• Baking skills and experience are a plus.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is a plus.
